403-881-2000 Eagle’s Nest staff will support you with resources, information, safety planning, and crisis. If you are in need a safe place to stay, staff will assist you with the process of coming to stay at Eagle’s Nest or help you with a referral to another place.

In-Shelter Services

In-Shelter Services

Eagle’s Nest is a short-term women’s emergency shelter located in Morley, Alberta. Shelter Services provide a safe and supportive environment for women and their children experience violence. Shelter services include crisis intervention, danger assessment, goal setting, safety planning, advocacy, referral, and information. Elder guidance is used on a regular basis both in the shelter and in the community.

Community Prevention

Community Prevention

Prevention and education are effective ways of ending violence in the community. Awareness campaigns and prevention programming in the schools and community can help to shift attitudes to a culture that does not condone violence against Indigenous women. Engage the community in the broader conversations of missing and murdered indigenious women and girls. Follow us on one of our social media sites to see how you can get involved.

Outreach

Outreach

Outreach services provide support for women who have left the shelter and still require ongoing support for women who do not wish to access shelter but are still in need of support to stay safe. Outreach services include services that can be accessed in shelter.
